Ashley is a huge fan of American Idol. "The finale was incredible. I couldn't have been more thrilled with the outcome considering Lee is from my hometown," she exclaimed. "It was an experience that will remain in my memory for the rest of my life."

She found the Which American Idol Contestant are You? quiz online, "by accident" and entered.

"I do that kind of thing all the time, but I've never won anything!" said an excited Ashley."

When asked what her favorite part of the event was, Ashley was at a loss. "[It's] probably a tie between getting to see Bret Michaels perform so soon after his life threatening condition, and watching so anxiously as Lee DeWyze won the competition," she explains. "We got to see him long after the show had ended on television in his most candid and vulnerable moments. It was a very touching few moments."

Ashley attended with her sister, who in Ashley's words was "in more disbelief about everything that was happening than I was."
